Thy Grief - The Frozen Tomb of Mankind

I am the unseen eyes of storms
An entity of all winters
My blood is like a river of ice
Running silent and slow
I breathe within the cold night
Through thunder and lightning I touch

The day their Sun burned into blackness
The day their Sun would never shine again

The night came fast

Pure tears of victory fell
From my eyes and froze the ground
Below as a mournful twilight
Shined upon mankind

From the darkened sky
Snow began to fall
Like silver it gleamed in the starlit nightsky
As it fell to the frostbitten fields

Winds and storms gathered from all the corners of the world
Combined they became blizzards
Hammering mankind to the ground
And buried them in frozen crystals

Soon all civilization became
Desolate landscapes
Of ice and snow
Bearing no life

Now, even after a long time
I still hear winds blow as distant choirs
As I wander through the landscape of this frozen earth
This frozen tomb of mankind
